Quality Control Inspector

The Company
Our client specializes in high volume, precision metal components made to specification.
Position Summary
• Checking the product for quality using measuring devices and other shop equipment
• In process inspections on running machines, statistical analysis and studies on running jobs as well
as final inspections
• Ability to contact customers and suppliers if quality issues arise
Skills and Knowledge
• Must be comfortable using computers
• Must be able to read part drawings
• Should be able to use statistics to aid in quality control and to find solutions to problems
• Must be able to calibrate gauges
Working Environment
• Machine shop environment
• Fast-paced environment
• Steel toed safety shoes
