Davenport Machine Operator
• Starting wage at TBD
• Day Shift
• Toronto Area

Our client specializes in high volume, precision metal components made to specification.
Position Summary
• Set up and operate 5 spindle Davenport Screw Machines
• Ability to read shop drawings or blueprints
• Use of forklift and overhead crane when needed
• Must be able to inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, plug gauges etc.
• Sharpen tools / drills to get machines back into production
Skills and Knowledge
• Davenport Screw machine experience is necessary
• Attention to detail
• Able to deal with grease and oil
• Repetitious task
Working Environment
• Machine shop environment
• Fast-paced environment
• Steel toed safety shoes
